Dynamic, highly successful technology corp seeks smart, skilled
Web developer and SW Support technician. Strong skill in VB, C# or Java and very good trouble-shooting skills are required.
In a team environment, this
Web Developer will do GUI programming for the front end of a global e-trading system. Will also provide hands-on PC software trouble-shooting and support of Internet applications, TCP/IP connectivity and DNS issues.
We`re seeking someone who will thrive in a
fast-paced environment, has a passion for trouble-shooting and has excellent analytical skills.
Ideally, candidate will be either a recent
Computer Science graduate with strong academic record and technical internships
or
junior level technician with 1-2 years experience & a BS in Computer Science.
Requirements:
BS Computer Science with strong academic record and recent Internships involving Web development
OR
Web developer with 1-2 years IT web development experience & a BS in Computer Science.
Must have solid programming skills in
VB, C# or Java.
Excellent PC
software trouble-shooting abilities and knowledge of Internet based applications
, TCP/IP connectivity, DNS, etc.
Thorough understanding of
Internet related applications.
Excellent communication skills and customer support abilities.
Unix, Linux or Sun Solaris systems is a strong plus.
PERL is a significant plus.
Telephone tech support experience is a strong plus.
